How I handle your information

This site is run by Ecommerce Secrets Ltd (CRO 726412), trading as Gary Redmond. For anything about your data, email gary@garyredmond.com.
What I collect
When you ask for a free review, I collect what you type into the form: your first name, email, dealership website, monthly ad spend, your role and anything you add in the notes. If you message me on WhatsApp or book a call, I get whatever you share there.
Why I use it
- To do your free review and email it to you.
- To follow up about the review and, if you're interested, my services.
The legal basis is my legitimate interest in replying to a business enquiry you made, and taking steps at your request before any contract. I don't sell your details or use them for anything unrelated.
Who else handles it
A few services process your details on my behalf so the form and email work:
- Netlify, which hosts this website.
- Zapier, which passes form submissions to my inbox and systems.
- My email and CRM providers, which store our conversation.
- Google Fonts, which serves the fonts on this site.
Some of these are based outside the EU. Where that happens, they use approved safeguards such as the EU Standard Contractual Clauses.
How long I keep it
If we don't end up working together, I delete your details within 24 months of our last contact, or sooner if you ask. If we do work together, I keep what's needed for the work and for tax and accounting records.
Cookies
This site uses two tracking tools, and only if you click Accept on the cookie banner:
- Meta Pixel (Meta Platforms Ireland), to see which of my Facebook and Instagram ads bring people to the site and lead to enquiries.
- Google Analytics (Google Ireland), to count visits and see which pages are useful.
If you click Decline, neither loads. You can change your mind any time with the "Cookie settings" link at the bottom of every page.
Your rights
You can ask to see the information I hold about you, correct it, delete it, or object to me using it. Just email gary@garyredmond.com. If you're not happy with how I've handled your data, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission at dataprotection.ie.
